Relax and Rejuvenate With Pottery

Immerse yourself in a peaceful and creative escape with our 3 day, 3 night pottery retreat at the welcoming Goonearl Simply Stay B&B. Designed to help you unwind, this retreat offers an ideal blend of pottery experiences and relaxation, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Cornish countryside.

About the Retreat

Our retreats are intentionally small, with a maximum group size of 6 people, providing a friendly and supportive environment. Whether you are a complete beginner or have tried pottery before, you will find the retreat both accessible and rewarding.

What To Expect

Day 1 (Friday): Arrive around 13:30 for introductions, a guided tour of the B&B, its grounds, and the studio space. Take some time to settle in, enjoy tea and cake, and familiarise yourself with your surroundings. Afterwards, join a short studio class to start creating pottery pieces, which you will decorate over the weekend.

Day 2 (Saturday): Begin your day with a breakfast buffet at the B&B, followed by a full day in the pottery studio. Learn various decoration and printing techniques, and let your creativity flourish. Lunch and an evening meal are provided at the B&B, ensuring you remain energised and comfortable throughout the day.

Day 3 (Sunday): Enjoy another delicious breakfast in the B&B before continuing your pottery activities and making the most of your final day in the studio. Enjoy a Cornish pasty and an afternoon stroll at one of the local beaches collecting items to use in your cyanotype workshop.

Evening meal will be provided at the B&B or if weather permits a BBQ.

Day 4 (Monday)

Check out day from the B&B after breakfast.  The chance to collect any pieces ready to take home with you.

If space permits then you can extend your stay at the B&B on a Room only rate option.
