Sgraffito Workshop

WHAT YOUR WILL DO:

During this session you will create a selection of Festive Decorations using cutters and Clay. Using underglazes and a selection of tools, you'll learn to carve (sgraffito) into these to produce a unique set of decorations perfect for the the festive season to decorate your home or gift to family and friends. Depending on the size and complexity of your designs you should produce a set of 4-6 decorations. No previous pottery experience needed. All materials provided. Just wear some clothes you don't mind getting messy! Tea and coffee provided. This Workshop will be held in the Art Room Redruth. Your vase will be fired and glazed with fynn at his studio, this can take upto 4 weeks to allow it to be dried and fired twice. This can then we collected from his shop in Redruth or his home studio in Scorrier, or posted to you for shipping costs.
